This privacy policy sets out how SnapGPT collects, uses, maintains, and discloses information collected from users of the SnapGPT mobile application (“app”), including SnapGPT Pro features of the app. This privacy policy applies to the app "SnapGPT" and all products and services offered by SnapGPT and the developer.

SnapGPT collects the minimum amount of data necessary to provide the app's functionality. The app uses the camera of the user's mobile device to capture an image and OCR technology to extract text, which is used solely to generate text-based responses to the user's questions using the OpenAI GPT-3 API. Data collected upon registration, such as the user's email address, is stored securely and not shared with any third parties. Users have the option to delete their account from within the app at any time.

SnapGPT Pro uses Apple's in-app payment system for the purchase of credits. User payment information, such as payment method and billing address, is collected and used solely for processing payments and maintaining a user's credit balance. SnapGPT is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information that may result from using the app. The app is intended to be used as a tool for generating text-based responses and should not be relied upon for accuracy or completeness of information. Users are solely responsible for proofreading any information generated by the app before sharing it with others.

SnapGPT takes reasonable measures to protect against unauthorized access to, alteration of, or destruction of the data it collects. However, no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and SnapGPT cannot guarantee the absolute security of the information collected through the app.

Refunds for SnapGPT Pro are at the discretion of the developer. If a user requests a refund, the developer will evaluate the request and determine whether a refund will be issued. If more than 10% of the credits have already been used, the app cannot issue a refund.

SnapGPT has the discretion to update this privacy policy at any time. When SnapGPT does, the updated policy will be posted on this page. You acknowledge and agree that it is your responsibility to review this privacy policy periodically and become aware of modifications.

By using the app, you signify your acceptance of this policy. If you do not agree to this policy, please do not use the app. Your continued use of the app following the posting of changes to this policy will be deemed your acceptance of those changes.
